Ive been reading the book by EM bounds which is so interesting
Even as He spoke about prayer with respect to affecting conduct and character, i've looked back over my life and see how prayer is important to these areas of my life. It also serves to keep me in the time of testing, because i remember God and whose I am.

I love what Elizabeth says about E. M. Bounds and knowing whose she is!! When I first started reading The Necessity of Prayer, I really did not connect with all the information he shared. However, as I read it the second and third time, I recognized how much wisdom he relayed in this writing. In Chapter 8 he talks about Character and Conduct and how "Prayer governs conduct and conduct makes character. Conduct is what we do; character is what we are." How can you not recognize the Godly wisdon that he imparts with statements like this.
